Dear Friend,

Greetings and best wishes! I am writing to let you know that I am running for the position of Justice of the Peace in the West Mesa district. I am excited about this opportunity to continue my service to the community.

My 14 years of service in the Arizona State Legislature as a lawmaker together with my years on the Judiciary Committee have provided me with a detailed understanding of the law's importance and value to our citizens. As the originator of the State Constitutional Commemoration Committee, I have a deep and abiding respect for our nation's Founding Fathers and for the U.S. Constitution.

While a State Legislator, I worked hard to fight crime, protect the taxpayer, improve our schools, stop illegal immigration, protect life and marriage, defend our Second Amendment rights, protect private property rights and defend the liberties guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. I'm pleased to say that, working with civility and integrity, I was able to play a positive role in making progress on all of these issues.

My priorities as Justice of the Peace would include: to be a fair and impartial judge; to follow the Constitution; the protection of individual rights; a strict construction of the law, according to original intent; an organized, effective and timely service of justice; and the promotion personal responsibility.

I am grateful for the support my friends and neighbors have shown me as a State Legislator, and I want to ask for your help once again. Would you please spread the word about my candidacy to your family and friends? Also, would you please consider supporting my campaign? Anything you can do to help is appreciated!

Thank you very much for your support. God bless you and this great country of ours.

Sincerely,

Mark Anderson
